On January 1, 2020, the local realty transfer tax assessed on real estate conveyances in the City of Pittsburgh increased to 4.0%; meaning the aggregate realty transfer tax assessed on conveyances in the City is 5%.  You will pay an additional $500.00 in realty transfer taxes for every $100,000.00 in value of the conveyance.  Please make sure you budget accordingly when analyzing your investment costs.
